Musical Versatility

Sandra Kos (born 1984, Varaždin) began her musical education at the age of 10, and graduated from the Vatroslav Lisinski music high school in Zagreb in 2003. She furthered her studies under professor Veljko Glodić at the Music Academy in Zagreb, and in 4 years was awarded the title of Academic Musician Pianist and Piano Professor.

From 2007 onward, Sandra has honed her skills as a piano teacher and accompanist at the elementary music school of Ksaver Šandor Gjalski in Zabok, Croatia. In 6 years of working with children, she has also gained extensive performing experience accompaning students at numerous concerts, and regional and national competitions. She regularly pursues professional development at Clavis International Pianist School in Zagreb, and through additional seminars organized by the Croatian Association of Music and Dance Pedagogues.

For the past 10 years, Sandra has served as organist to her parish church, and choir director for Sunday mass. In addition, she was conductor of mixed choir for the cultural and artistic society „Kaj“, for which she regularly wrote arrangements, and performed at concerts and festivals.
